Public awareness

One session that changes what people do when the phone rings

We do not lecture about passwords. We play the actual calls, show the actual messages, and let the group spot the move. By the end, "hang up and call back on the real number" is a reflex.

Online / Onsite
Language
Hindi / English
Level
Beginner

20 to 300
Certificate
Participation certificate on request
For
Housing societies, clubs, employees' families, community groups

What participants can do afterwards

  • Recognise the four moves of a scam (contact, urgency, "verification", disappearance) in any script
  • Know the three numbers that matter (1930, 112, 181) and what each is for
  • Set up UPI limits, WhatsApp two-step verification and a family safe word before leaving
  • Know what to do in the first hour after a loss, and what never to do (pay a "recovery agent")

Modules

  1. How scams actually work

Recorded digital-arrest and bank-fraud calls, dissected move by move.

  2. The five scams in your area right now

Localised with current alerts: KYC, electricity, parcel, trading group, sextortion.

  3. Phone and UPI hygiene, done live

Participants set limits and verification on their own phones during the session.

  4. The first hour

1930, portal, bank, evidence, and the recovery-agent trap.

  5. Questions and real cases from the room

Usually the most valuable twenty minutes.
