About
Who we are, and why this site exists
Plain-language guides to every kind of cyber crime in India, how to report it (1930, cybercrime.gov.in, state cyber police), and professional help for individuals, businesses and institutions.
What we do
Three things. We explain cyber crime in India in language a worried parent or a busy shop owner can act on. We help people and organisations after something has gone wrong, and before it does. And we train: citizens, employees, teachers, bank staff and investigators.
What we are not
We are not the police, a government portal or a bank. Reporting a cyber crime is free, and the first steps are always 1930 and cybercrime.gov.in. We never promise to recover money, because no honest person can.
How we check facts
Every statistic on this site is taken from a primary document: a parliamentary reply, a regulator's annual report, a court order or an agency press release. Each article lists its sources, shows the date it was last reviewed, and names the person who wrote and checked it. When sources disagree, we say so rather than pick the bigger number. Read the editorial and sources policy.
